Sam studied a Level 3 Btec in Engineering at the College.
He described College as “a friendly place to learn and grow. The teachers where are all really friendly and approachable, being willing to help with anything I needed. They also had great knowledge from industry.”
He said he valued his course as “It was what I actually wanted to study, compared to A-Levels, which where just the topics I need to study engineering at university (e.g.physics and maths).
His favourite memory was “attending the Shell eco-marathon in Holland with the car we built, to compete against colleges and universities from across Europe.”
